The Express Snowmobile Tour takes place on top of Langjökull Glacier which is Iceland’s second largest glacier. To reach Langjökull Glacier, you get to enjoy a 2 hour Super Truck experience with stunning Icelandic landscape scenery throughout the entire drive just outside of your window. Once you arrive at the glacier, you’ll gear up and receive a safety briefing on the glacier terrain & snowmobiles. Once we cover all the safety knowledge you’ll need, you get to hit the glacier with your snowmobile! You will join an exhilarating one-hour snowmobiling tour across the endless white snowfields, a great way to combine the adrenaline-filled activity with the awe-inspiring views. The glacial world has to be experienced to be believed – a snowy wonderland where the only disruption is you and your snowmobile having about the most fun that you can imagine. The snowmobiles are easy to operate, and offer you a safe and spectacular hour of thrilling action!
Just so you know, you don’t need any previous experience to get the thrill of snowmobiling – just a valid driving license. These two-seater sleds allow you to pair up with a partner as you taste the special excitement of driving across glacial snow. We provide you with all the protective gear you need for a safe and comfortable snowmobiling ride.
The location of snowmobiles is according to the weather & snow conditions. If circumstances demand it, we may choose an alternative mountain snow area.
Note: This trip is built for those who have already seen the Golden Circle sights AND want to experience snowmobiling action atop Iceland’s second largest glacier! This trip is slightly shorter in length as it drives past the Golden Circle without stopping. If you want to see the Golden Circle sights along the way, we recommend you check out the Golden Circle & Snowmobiling Tour.
