After passing through the town of Mosfellsbær your ride will start on tracks and trails by Reykjavik’s signature mountain Esja and the Mosfellsdalur valley. The journey gets more adventurous as the tracks take us across several rivers and old bridges in stunning natural settings. On our way back we ride up safe mountain trails to the peaks of mountains Úlfarsfell and Hafrafell, giving guests a chance to enjoy spectacular views over Reykjavík and the surrounding mountain area. On a clear day you will be able to see glacier Snæfellsjökull, hundreds of km away.
There will be plenty of time for photo taking and enjoying the scenery. We will stop on the way to get some Icelandic soup or pastry (optional - not included in the price), and you’ll get a chance to sample some fresh Icelandic spring water straight from the source.
